AvantLink: A Premium Affiliate Network for Pros

AvantLink is an affiliate network focused on traffic quality. A review for those tired of the mass market.

AvantLink stands apart. Founded in 2005, it has positioned itself as a “premium affiliate network” ever since. If ShareASale is a shopping mall and CJ is a business park, AvantLink is a private club. And they don’t let just anyone in.

What’s Inside

The catalog features roughly 1,000 brands. At first glance — that seems small. But this isn’t AliExpress where offers are cranked out by the bucketload. We’re talking outdoor brands (The North Face, Patagonia), sports nutrition, premium electronics. The advertiser quality is off the charts.

Their core specialization: outdoor, cycling, hunting, fishing, home & garden. The American middle class and above.

The Technical Side

The datafeed system deserves special mention. If you know how to work with product feeds (XML/CSV files with thousands of items), AvantLink gives you access and the tools to integrate them. You can build a full-fledged aggregator store on your own site.

There’s also the AvantLink Local program — for promoting local brick-and-mortar retailers. An unusual niche that few people know about.

Terms

Standard Net-60. Minimum $50. Payouts via PayPal, ACH, check.

But the biggest drawback is getting in. You have to apply to each brand individually. It’s not “sign up and promote everything” — it’s “show us your site, tell us about your traffic, get approved by each advertiser.” Tedious? Yes. But that’s exactly why competition is lower and rates are higher.

Who it’s for: owners of niche websites with an established audience. Not for beginners.
