Both networks are from the old guard of affiliate marketing. FlexOffers since 2008, ShareASale since 2000. Both have survived multiple Google updates and market downturns. But their approaches are different.
Program Selection
FlexOffers — 12,000+ advertisers. Big brands like Samsung, Macy’s, Nordstrom. Strong coverage of finance and insurance. But getting access to top-tier programs requires traffic and history.
ShareASale — roughly 4,500 programs. Fewer, but each one goes through manual moderation. There’s almost no outright junk here. On the flip side, some major brands that are on FlexOffers aren’t here.
Verdict: FlexOffers wins on quantity. ShareASale wins on filtering quality.
Interface
FlexOffers looks like a relic from the Windows XP era. Functional, but hard on the eyes. ShareASale isn’t a looker either, but the structure is more logical and finding offers is easier. Reporting in ShareASale is more detailed.
Verdict: ShareASale.
Commissions and Payouts
Both pay Net-60. Minimum $50 at ShareASale, $25 at FlexOffers. Rates are roughly the same because the rate is set by the advertiser, not the network.
FlexOffers offers FlexRevShare — the ability to earn a percentage of the advertiser’s revenue, not just from sales. ShareASale doesn’t have this.
Verdict: FlexOffers is slightly more advantageous for experienced affiliates.
Which One to Choose
Beginners will have an easier time starting with ShareASale — friendlier interface, lower barrier to entry. Experienced publishers with solid traffic should consider using both networks. FlexOffers gives access to exclusive brands, while ShareASale provides a stable base of vetted programs.
